How To Use Infographics and PR Releases that Google also Likes

There seems to be an endless race between Google and SEO professionals.

Infographic-of-infographics

Most of us are probably always testing new and different ways to get ahead with our Search Engine Optimization efforts.

We need to deliver on getting those websites ranked high and increase traffic, so we’ll try all kinds of tactics and methods to get it done.

Many have been using info-graphics to score relatively easy links. Other tactics include Press Releases, content curation and guest posting.

Things are always changing, as you can see from Google Guidelines and Google Link Schemes.

  • Google will hand out manual penalties updating their algorithm and is aggressive with fighting Web Spam.
  • You should add a rel=nofollow to your (infographic) links to avoid Google’s wrath. Google is suspicious of activities that seem to only serve as a way to level-up your rankings.

Another tactic that works well is using Press Releases for traffic with potential rankings.

  • Putting content on the web with anchor texts that use keywords you want to rank for, but this can lead to over-optimized link profiles.
  • Instead of using generic but relevant keywords as the link text, use a direct link to your site, brand name, or some other general text.

The best we can do is follow Google closely and be agile with our SEO practices, Adjust to changes and don’t be dependent on any one tactic.

Above all, Always be testing!
